This DisplayPort to VGA adapter is the ideal solution for connecting a DisplayPort-equipped computer or graphics card to a VGA monitor or VGA-enabled device. DisplayPort is a 20-pin connector similar to HDMI, designed by VESA as a royalty-free audio/video connection to replace older DVI and VGA standards.

Note: Due to the limitations of VGA, this adapter does not carry audio.
